Basrah Mas was selected as a sole main contractor to International Container Terminal Services Inc. (ICTSI) to construct
three berths at their Basrah Gateway Terminal (BGT) in Umm
Qasr Port.
All building composing the powerplant projects were executed which included, powerhouse and engine room, control building, filters structure & main gas feeding line.
A total of 800,000 cubic meters of materials were dredged in front of berth 27 to reach to navigational depths in accordance with requirement of Umm Qasr port navigational depths.
Construction of 10 tanks for storing raw edible oil of 4,000 tons each as well as ship unloader and truck loading station with all piping and pumps
Construction of stacking yard, cathodic protection revamping for the berths, fences and guardrails and all electrical system.
